Wacky Packages Original Series

1974 - 11th Series

The 11th Series made its debut in December of 1974, and remained on shelves through early February 1975.

Topps had plans for a new off-shoot product called Wacky Magazines, in response to Fleer's Crazy Covers.  But Wacky Packages had been hit hard in October 1974 by multiple C&D's from disgruntled companies, making it harder and harder to find products to spoof.

In order to keep the wacky machine running at full speed, the magazine series was scrapped, and the titles split between the 11th, 13th, and 14th series.  If you look at the magazine titles in these sets, you will see that the images are slightly smaller than the regular titles. (Most noticeable in uncut sheets.)
